Ok, its late Sunday evening, I am hungry, there is nothing else nearby and Liferando takes over 40 minutes to deliver and one has a minimum order charge of 20 - 30 Euro to deal with, ready to eat 2 or 3 pizza's or dare you step outside your 4 star hotel and walk ONE minute? Yes it smells of tobacco, but it was clean and has friendly staff and environment. The menu so late in evening is fairly basic and whilst waiting one can have a beer or two. The meal with Pute was served hot and with a nice salad on the side. Before anyone asks, I have no idea about vegetarian or vegane, just know if you are hungry you will figure something out and order, otherwise you can wait for an hour for Liferando to deliver or go to bed hungry its your choice! Hölzlekönig, Thank you for being there for me.

Gutes Essen, große Portionen, freundliche Bedienung+Koch, top Preis-Leistung... Ich bin wegen der duchwachsenen Bewertungen nur mit gemischten Gefühlen in den Hölzlekönig gegangen, war aber froh dort gewesen zu sein. Für mich war alles bestens. Das Essen war gut, die Portion riesig und Variantenreich (siehe Foto), die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Salat war frisch und lecker. Es gibt einen gut beleuchteten, von der Bar getrennten (und somit vermutlich rauchfreien) Raum in dem gegessen werden konnte. Ich habe mich aber gern in den etwas dunkleren Teil des Gebäudes gesetzt. Ich wurde gefragt, ob das Licht ausreicht - und ich fand es gemütlich, so wie es war. Gehobeneres Ambiente hätte es in der Umgebung gegeben aber ich war auf der Suche nach was gutem 'bürgerlichen' (in dem Fleischgerichte unter 20 € liegen und die Cola nicht in der 0,2 Flasche zu 2,40 € serviert wird) und das hab ich im Hölzlekönig zur vollsten Zufriedenheit gefunden. Was die Kritik an der überschaubaren Speisekarte betrifft...die Karte hängt am Eingang aus - wem das gebotene zu wenig ist, der darf meiner Meinung nach einfach nicht reingehen. Falls ich wieder mal in der Gegend bin geh ich da gern wieder hin.
